God’s voice is both authentic and clear. His words and actions tell us whose we are, why we are here, and where we are headed. His voice, and our response to it, makes all the difference. At The Clarion Call Christian Center, get ready to hear and be prepared to respond to God’s Clarion Call.
Here you will encounter a deeper walk with God. Here you will discover your unique role in His plan. Here you will become all He intends for you to be in Christ. As the Scripture says, “Out of heaven, He let you hear His voice, that He might teach you.” Deuteronomy 4:36
About the Architect: Architect Marley Porter is clear about his calling from God. “Our Heavenly Father gives every one of us special gifts. I am humbled to have been given the Gift of Vision. When it comes time to design a new Church, I am blessed and often blown away because as I close my eyes and empty my thoughts, the Vision explodes within me. The Spirit swells within me and shows me the building as it is to be. Sacred geometries and sanctified spaces open before my inner eyes. I am allowed to see what God sees. It is humbling and it is breathtaking. Then my hands and my brain and my mouth are bridled to draw and paint and present what was seen and experienced in the Vision. And I cannot charge money for this gift. That’s part of the pact I made with our Creator. The Vision is as free to the Church as it is to me, as free as the Gift given to us all by Jesus Christ our Savior, and in His name, Amen.”
The Clarion Call is MOVING FORWARD with the realization of our VISION for the building of our new church home. Your love and generosity will help make this possible. In this letter you will learn our need as we move forward. You will learn how you can make an impact with your prayers and financial support. Can you believe it? No more setting up and breaking down chairs. No more setting up and breaking down cameras and microphone systems. But most of all I have marveled at your patience, love and dedication to remain a true church family even in the midst of adversity. I believe this process has greatly strengthened us and we’ve had the honor of really learning what the “Church” is all about. It is not a building but the true people of God. We are His church. (1 Cor.12) God has taught us that lesson.
We have been blessed with a number of professionals who have donated a significant amount of time and labor through architectural drawings, many other labors of service to help us achieve our goals. This has saved a significant amount of money. I’m truly humbled and thankful every time I think about the love and devotion of these dedicated brothers and sisters for Christ and what they have given to our church to help move us forward.
Following are some ways you can help us achieve our ministry goals. First, pray. Pray for the future and for God’s leading. Secondly, make a donation to The Clarion Call that is above and beyond your regular tithe. This could be a one-time gift, or an additional percentage each month of what you already give.
I often refer to our opportunity to give of our time, talent and treasure. This is a time to give of your treasure if we are to complete this project free of debt.
Prayerfully consider how God would have you support this effort. Every gift, no matter the size, is needed and appreciated, but I hope you will be as generous as you possibly can.
