After being members for 21 years at New Life Christian Center and serving on the Ministerial Alliance Team, Pastor Earl answered “The Call” of God into full time ministry.
The “Name” of the church, The Clarion Call Christian Center was inspired by Pastor Ava, who had a series of events whereby she would hear the words Clarion Call.
She thought this meant the Lord was going to be calling her home. After spending much time in prayer, Pastor Earl spent much time in prayer, he realized this was to be the name of the church. Early Sunday morning on January 16, 2009 in their home at 3330 Willowwood Blvd,San Antonio Tx. Pastor Earl woke up knowing today is the day,and announced to his family, “Let’s start.” In their living room, the birth of the church began with their daughter Tamara, their grandsons Isaiah, Demarion and a friend Davida Cotmanel were in attendance.
In order to provide a place of worship and growth, the Fulmers put their house up for rent moved into the Sedona Ranch apartments, 17655 Henderson Pass, San Antonio, TX 78232 in order to be able to use the clubhouse for services. The first official worship service was held on February 22, 2009.
Today, The Clarion Call is a thriving, growing, exciting church to be a part of. We are grateful for a past that has been blessed by God in amazing ways, but we also have a great vision for the future of what can be accomplished for the Lord through our church.
